To care for your dentures:
- Daily Cleaning: Remove and clean your dentures daily with a soft-bristle brush and non-abrasive cleaner.
- Oral Hygiene: Continue to brush your gums, tongue, and any remaining teeth to maintain oral health.
Regular Adjustments: Visit us periodically to ensure a proper fit, as gums may change over time, affecting denture stability.

How long do dentures take to get used to?
- Most patients adapt within two to four weeks, though speech and eating may feel different initially.
How should I care for my dentures?
- Clean daily with a denture brush and mild detergent, soak overnight in a denture solution, and rinse thoroughly before wearing.
Will my dentures need relining?
- Yes—over time, changes in your jawbone may require relining every 1–2 years to maintain a secure fit.
Can I sleep in my dentures?
- We recommend removing them at night to allow your gums to rest and reduce infection risk.
What if my dentures feel sore?
- Soreness often means minor adjustments are needed; please book an appointment so we can refine the fit.
